Coal supply is Taiwan’s clearest energy-import concentration story. Australia and Indonesia together supplied nearly four-fifths of 2025 coal imports. Colombia, Russia and South Africa were much smaller but still visible in the top five. This makes coal a good benchmark against broader import diversification and future power-mix changes.
