Taiwan Migrant Workers by Industry and Nationality at End-2025

Manufacturing employed 482,608 foreign workers, far above other listed industries.

What the Data Shows

Taiwan’s migrant-worker distribution is both industrial and nationality-specific. Manufacturing alone employed 482,608 foreign workers at end-2025, led by Vietnam and the Philippines, while other service activities employed 209,180, mostly Indonesians. The matrix view exposes why one total count hides very different labour-market roles by origin.
