Taiwan U.S. versus China/HK export-order growth, 2025

Taiwan export-order growth from U.S. buyers stayed above China/HK-bound order growth through 2025.

What the Data Shows

This graphic tracks the market split behind Taiwan’s export-order boom. U.S.-bound order growth stayed far stronger than China/HK-bound growth, pointing to a demand mix increasingly shaped by U.S.-linked AI and technology purchasing. The caveat is that export orders can be fulfilled through overseas production, so they do not map one-for-one to Taiwan customs exports.
