Taiwan Reservoir Storage, May 2026

Several southern reservoirs were below one-third full in the WRA live snapshot.

What the Data Shows

Reservoir levels turn drought risk into a visible, local number. The latest WRA readings show very low storage at several central and southern reservoirs, with A-Kung-Tien and Tsengwen near 11%. Because the tracker is live, the graphic is best treated as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent annual statistic.

Data notes & caveats

Live reservoir percentages can change hourly. Treat this as a dated May 2026 snapshot, not an annual final statistic.

Methodology

Uses WRA live reservoir-storage percentages captured from the English WRA reservoir tracker. Values are sorted from lowest to highest among selected major reservoirs. The chart uses storage percentage, not water level in meters or effective storage volume.
