USDTWD.ai Taiwan Macro Atlas

Taiwan petroleum-product exports by type

Diesel/gasoil was 54% and gasoline/blending 30% of 2025 petroleum-product exports.

What the Data Shows

This replaces the weak fuel-oil import-supplier idea with a cleaner EIA-backed export-mix graphic. EIA reports that diesel/gasoil was 54% of Taiwan’s 2025 petroleum-product exports, gasoline/blending components were 30% and fuel oil was 7%. The result still preserves the fuel-oil angle, but in the product flow where the source actually reports it. It also pairs naturally with the import-mix page.

Data table

Oil-product exports 313k b/d total flow
Diesel/gasoil 54% share of 2025 flow
Gasoline/blend 30% share of 2025 flow
Other 9% share of 2025 flow
Fuel oil 7% share of 2025 flow

Data notes & caveats

Fuel oil is shown as an export product share, not as an import supplier ranking. The original fuel-oil import-country idea remains a Customs-extraction task.

Methodology

Uses EIA’s 2026 Taiwan Analysis Brief and Figure 13 workbook. Values are 2025 petroleum-product export shares by product type; b/d means barrels per day.

Source consistency notes

All product shares come from one EIA/Vortexa 2025 figure; no supplier-country rows are inferred.
