Taiwan electronics export concentration, 2025

ICT products plus electronic parts accounted for 74% of goods exports in 2025.

What the Data Shows

This graphic quantifies Taiwan’s trade concentration in the AI-semiconductor-electronics complex. A single customs category, parts of electronic product, already carried more than one-third of total goods exports. Combining it with ICT/audio-video products shows how much of Taiwan’s export machine now sits inside the same broad technology cycle.

Data table

Electronic parts exports US$222.9B 34.8% of exports
ICT exports US$251.2B 39.2% of exports
ICT + parts share 74% combined share
Total exports US$640.7B 2025

Data notes & caveats

This is a customs-category proxy for semiconductor/electronics concentration, not a one-company dependence measure. It does not equal TSMC exports or semiconductor GDP.

Methodology

Use MOF annual report 2025 commodity values and shares. Electronic parts share is the MOF table share of all exports. Combined ICT+electronic parts share is the MOF report's combined figure.

Source consistency notes

All headline values come from the same MOF annual report.
