Taiwan top-country trade-balance map without map

In 2025 Taiwan ran a US$150.1B surplus with the U.S. and a US$37.0B deficit with Korea.

What the Data Shows

A balance leaderboard shows who funds Taiwan’s surplus and who supplies its deficits. The United States became the dominant surplus partner in 2025, while Korea and Japan remained large deficit partners because of import-heavy supply links. This is a mapless geography graphic: clear, sortable and reusable. It uses exports minus imports by the same partner group.
