Taiwan export value per TEU, 2025

Taiwan’s 2025 goods exports equalled about US$95.1k per export container.

What the Data Shows

Taiwan’s goods-export value is extremely high relative to its container flow because a large share of the export basket is electronics and ICT hardware. Combining MOF goods exports with TIPC export-container throughput gives a national export-density proxy of about US$95.1k per export TEU in 2025. Port-level export values are not published in the same matched structure, so this graphic treats port TEUs as the logistics denominator and flags the value metric as a national proxy.

Data notes & caveats

This is a national export-value-per-export-TEU proxy, not a port-level value-per-TEU ranking. Port-level value and port-level TEUs were not available as a matched official table.

Methodology

Use MOF total 2025 goods exports divided by TIPC 2025 total export-container TEUs; show major-port export-container shares as supporting context.
