Data notes & caveats

The per-resident figure divides CBC’s current-account surplus by Taiwan’s official population. Peer rows were not supplied, so this is intentionally a Taiwan-only snapshot.

Methodology

Current-account surplus per resident equals the 2024 current-account surplus divided by the 2024 population. GDP is implied from CBC’s current-account-to-GDP ratio for support context.

Source consistency notes

Taiwan will likely be sourced from CBC plus official population data, while peers should come from one multilateral dataset plus one common population source. The mixed-source structure must be disclosed.
