Taiwan GDP and Exports per Worker, 2024

GDP per worker and exports per worker use one disclosed labour-denominator proxy.

What the Data Shows

This statistic turns Taiwan’s output and export scale into worker-level terms. Using one disclosed labour denominator, 2024 GDP per worker was about US$68.4k and goods exports per worker were about US$40.8k. The labour denominator is a proxy, so the page should be read as a source-labelled productivity-and-export-intensity view rather than a final labour-productivity table.

Exports / worker US$40.8k same denom

Data notes & caveats

GDP is implied from CBC’s current-account-to-GDP ratio, exports use MOF goods data, and the labour denominator is a latest-point employed-persons proxy. Replace with annual average employment for strict final status.

Methodology

Implied nominal GDP and goods exports are divided by the same employed-persons proxy. The method is useful for scale, but source-labelled because the denominator is not yet a final annual-average employment series.

Source consistency notes

GDP is derived from official CBC current-account data and DGBAS growth reporting; exports come from MOF. The denominator needs one final pass to use annual average employed persons rather than a latest-point labour series.
