ASEAN took 18.6% of exports and supplied 12.9% of imports
This statistic measures Taiwan’s ASEAN exposure on both sides of the ledger. ASEAN received US$119.0B of Taiwan exports and supplied US$62.6B of imports, creating a US$56.4B Taiwan surplus. The export share of 18.6% was the best in nearly 11 years, while ASEAN’s import share also rose by 0.4 percentage points in 2025.
