USDTWD.ai Taiwan Macro Atlas

Top 15 Economies by Nominal GDP, 2026

Top 15 IMF WEO economies, plus #16 Turkey and #22 Taiwan for context.

What the Data Shows

This treemap keeps the top-15 economy story intact while adding Turkey at #16 and Taiwan as a #22 context block. The layout makes the gap between the largest economies and Taiwan visually explicit without pretending Taiwan belongs inside the top 15. All values use the IMF WEO April 2026 current-dollar GDP projection, so the comparison is same-source and projection-labelled.

Data notes & caveats

The title remains Top 15 Economies because the core graphic is the top-15 treemap; Turkey and Taiwan are added context blocks. IMF 2026 values are projections and not final national accounts.

Methodology

Values use IMF WEO DataMapper indicator NGDPD, GDP at current prices in U.S. dollars, April 2026 vintage. The treemap includes ranks 1–15, adds Turkey as the #16 cutoff, and appends Taiwan as a contextual #22 block. Block area scales with the numeric GDP value.
